Cleaning & Damage Policy
All cooking utensils, pots, pans and dishes must be cleaned and trash placed in waste baskets upon departure. Any items lost, stolen or damaged will be noted and charged to you at replacement cost. A cleaning fee of up to $200 can be charged at our discretion if additional cleaning is required.
Arrival and Departure Times
Check in is 3:00 p.m. Check out is 11:00 a.m.
All units are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted outdoors only. Ash 'pots' are located outside each cabin.
We are able to recycle cardboard and aluminum cans locally. Containers are provided on site. We encourage you to "pack out" and recylce your own plastic and glass if possible.
Lock all windows and doors when you leave.
Do not use candles or open flames in the cabin or put anything near the electric baseboard heaters and stoves.
Each cabin has one assigned one car parking space. Please be considerate of other guests when loading or unloading your vehicle. No boats, trailers, or RVs permitted.
Please let us know if anything breaks or becomes damaged during your stay so that we can have it repaired in a timely manner.
A propane grill is at the fire pit for your use. Each cottage also has a charcoal grill. Grill utensils are located in each cabin, though charcoal is not provided. Please return all items to your cabin and leave the area clean for other guests.
- Visitors must check in at the office upon arrival.
- Parking is limited to 1 vehicle that must park in Office Parking space.
- Visitors may visit guests between the hours of 10:00 am and 8:00 pm.
The policy is meant to limit visitation mainly out of respect to our other guests but also due to very limited parking (one space per unit). Our septic system is also very sensitive and only capable of handling our maximum number of guests.
Chito Beach Resort will not be held liable or responsible for any damages to personal property or injuries that may occur while you are staying on the property. You are responsible for your own safety and that of others with you. Please take caution of the risks in and around this remote location. Be aware of hazards such as hot stoves in cabins, slippery rocks and wood on and around the beach, sharp broken shells, and wildlife.
